Evaluation & Testing Services: Comprehensive, Compassionate, and Clinically Grounded Assessments
At Mind Mosaic, I specialize in providing thorough, individualized psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Whether you are seeking clarity about autism, ADHD, or other neurodevelopmental or cognitive concerns, my goal is to provide answers that are both accurate and meaningful—rooted in best clinical practices and delivered with care.
Autism Spectrum Evaluations (age 12 months through adulthood)
If you or your child is struggling with social communication, sensory sensitivity, emotional regulation, or rigid thinking patterns, a comprehensive autism evaluation can provide clarity and guidance.
I conduct full diagnostic assessments for autism that include:
-
A detailed clinical interview and biopsychosocial history
-
Cognitive testing (e.g., WISC-V, WAIS-IV) to assess intellectual functioning
-
The ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule), the gold standard in autism assessment
-
Behavioral observations and standardized rating scales
-
A comprehensive, written report with diagnostic impressions, individualized recommendations, and next steps
If criteria for an autism diagnosis are met, I will provide a formal diagnosis and clear, actionable recommendations for school, therapy, and daily life.
ADHD Evaluations (ages 5 through adulthood)
If you or your child is having difficulty focusing, completing tasks, staying organized, or managing impulsive behavior, a comprehensive ADHD evaluation can help determine whether ADHD is present—and what supports may be most effective.
My ADHD assessments include:
-
A thorough clinical interview covering developmental, academic, medical, and psychosocial history
-
Standardized parent/teacher/self-report questionnaires
-
The TOVA (Test of Variables of Attention), a computerized performance-based measure of attention and impulse control
-
Screening for differential diagnoses (e.g., anxiety, trauma, learning challenges)
-
A detailed written report with a diagnosis if criteria are met, plus individualized treatment and support recommendations
What to Expect
Psychological evaluations are in-depth and individualized. I take the time to carefully assess each person’s unique profile, rather than relying on brief screenings or checklists. Most evaluations are completed over the course of 2–3 sessions, followed by a comprehensive written report and feedback session to review findings and next steps.
This process is ideal for individuals who:
-
Are seeking a first-time diagnosis
-
Need documentation for school accommodations (e.g., IEP, 504 Plan)
-
Want clarity around behavior, learning, or emotional functioning
-
Are adults exploring a possible late diagnosis
My Approach
As both a clinician and evaluator, I recognize the importance of feeling seen and understood during the assessment process. My approach is:
-
Thorough and clinically rigorous
-
Collaborative and respectful
-
Focused on clarity, not just labels
The goal is not just to give a diagnosis (when appropriate), but to help individuals and families understand themselves more deeply and find a path forward that feels supportive and empowering.
